Dance of Life 2
acrylic paint, pastel, graphite on architectural mylar
56" x 89.5"
I have been concerned with the nature of time and the unfolding of events since my early experience as a dancer. As dance movements occur in sequence, one never has a complete view of the whole, except as it occurs in memory. This led to my interest in representing the totality of events that take place over time as one cohesive image. Abstract shapes are my dancers.
